Ashton Common Car Boot Sale, established in 2004, is more than just a marketplace—it's a family-friendly, community-driven event with a commitment to giving back.

In recent years, our car boot sale has proudly contributed over £100,000 to Cancer Research UK, earning recognition from the charity for our impactful fundraising endeavors. Previously, Cancer Research UK collected funds directly from sellers; however, in light of Covid, we've adapted our approach.

Now, at the gate, we collect £2 from each £4 seller fee, ensuring a direct and meaningful contribution to Cancer Research UK. None of this would be possible without the steadfast support of our carbooting family.

No rubbish or unsold goods should be left on the field; please take everything home to avoid fly-tipping.
Dogs are welcome but must be friendly, sociable, and on a lead. Owners are responsible for immediate clean-up. Dogs should not be left in cars, and we reserve the right to request removal if they cause distress.
Open Sundays only from 6 am to 1 pm. No access for dogs or their owners outside of event hours as it is private property, including walkers and riders.”
