About Battersea Car Boot Sale

BATTERSEABOOT IS TEMPORARILY CLOSED

We are told we will be able to return as soon as building work is complete which is currently estimated 2026.

In the mean time we have been offered alternative sites which we are of course looking into.

For anyone who didn’t see the news – we were given 4 days notice that we need to close in order for the onsite building work to be completed. Our last boot was 26th January 2025.

According to Harris Academy it would be a health and safety risk for us to continue to drive around the building site as we have been doing since 2019.
Obviously, we were forced to accept their decision.

As many people know, we have been at Battersea since 1999 and have fought many adversities there over the years. We’ll work something out – stick with us.

I have been sourcing items for my eBay store from car boot sales for the last 20 years or so. Occasionally, I find some gems. There are lots of popular Sunday car boot sales around London, and in particular, I like going to the Battersea Car Boot Sale very good in terms of the product selection on offer.
