Jawbone Car Boot Sale is a popular seasonal event held at Greenhead House Farm (S35 0HN), offering a scenic and family-friendly Sunday market experience near Barnsley and Sheffield. Running on select Sundays from May to October, it’s the perfect place to buy, sell, and explore a wide variety of bargains in a relaxed countryside setting.

Sellers must book pitches online in advance, with prices starting from just £9 per car. Gates open to sellers from 7am, and buyers are welcome from 8am for only £1 per car, with onsite parking only for safety.

Expect a welcoming atmosphere, quality catering from The Little Sausage Shop, and a wide mix of stalls selling everything from second-hand toys and tools to vintage treasures, clothing, homeware, and games. Strict rules help keep the event safe and enjoyable - no live animals, alcohol, counterfeit goods, or food sales (unless pre-approved).

Whether you’re clearing out your loft or hunting for car boot bargains, Jawbone Car Boot offers a clean, well-run alternative to the larger commercial markets - all set in the beautiful Yorkshire countryside.
